I also make a lavender tallow balm for those who like a pleasant smell in their lotion. The sweet lavender aroma is obtained by infusing the tallow with organic lavender, no essential oils are used. Both balms are made in 2oz glass amber jars protecting it from sunlight and are best stored at room temperature. Tallow is similar to our skin's biology so it is quickly absorbed by our skin. A little tallow goes a long way and you only have to use enough for it to be absorbed into the skin.
